The Dumb Friends League Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur is an educational hub for students from CSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to complete an externship in community veterinary services as part of the year-long series of clinical experiences that concludes the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.

The new mosquito-tagging method being developed at CSU has the potential to revolutionize how mosquito-borne disease are studied.
CSU graduate students presented their research, entrepreneurship and creative arts while competing for over $20,000 in scholarships during the 2022 GradShow on Nov. 16.
"As educators, we need to recognize that addressing climate change needs to be infused into everything we do. We are responsible for empowering young people to take control of this situation," says Dr. Colleen Duncan, who represented the college at the United Nations climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

“The new building will also have an expanded primary care clinic, which will provide additional experience for veterinary students throughout their curriculum but especially during those years where they’re learning the hands-on components of veterinary medicine,” associate CSU professor Dr. Kelly Hall said.
Stephanie McGrath, associate professor in neurology and neurosurgery at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is looking into CBD treatments for dogs with chronic pain: arthritis in older dogs, anxiety and separation anxiety, epilepsy, dementia and brain cancer.
The words used to describe those who received last year’s Colorado State University Best Teacher Awards showed why they were selected. Nominations are being accepted for the 2023 winners.
At the end of a three-day competition last weekend, team VRam team, consisting of seven students from computer science, construction management, data science, and design and merchandising, won first place at the CSU VR challenge, earning a $4,000 prize for their work.
