Brendan Hanlon, most recently the deputy mayor and chief financial officer for the City and County of Denver, will be joining CSU on Aug. 1 as the new vice president for university operations and chief financial officer.

I wanted to write this morning to assure you that the University is in excellent hands with its very capable leadership team – vice presidents, deans, and department and unit heads – and with all of you who are teaching our classes, supporting our students, and keeping CSU running smoothly and well.
After much deliberation, the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System and President Joyce McConnell have decided to part ways and President McConnell will be leaving CSU as of June 30, 2022.
On Wednesday, June 15, an emergency exercise will be held on the South Campus behind the Johnson Family Equine Hospital just south of the intersection of Phemister Road and Gillette Drive.
Kreidenweis is a University Distinguished Professor and serves as executive associate dean in the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering where she also previously served as research associate dean.
