The COVID-19 pandemic has created social isolation for many older adults — and has put a damper on many internship opportunities for college students. A group at CSU launched a program in which students are paired with senior citizens in the community to provide support in a variety of areas.

Colorado State University’s Health and Medical Center is now open to students and the public. To celebrate the building’s opening, a festive ribbon cutting was held July 28 to honor those who generously donated to the facility. In addition, the public was invited to a Community Open House on July 29.
