Colorado State University President Amy Parsons today announced several key appointments to open leadership positions at the University, including the hiring of two long-time campus communications leaders and the superintendent of one of the state’s largest urban school districts.
Joe Blake, a stalwart advocate for excellence in higher education who passed away this week at the age of 86, is remembered by friends, former colleagues and alumni as an eloquent and committed champion for CSU whose legacy will endure through the transformative philanthropy he helped cultivate.
On Oct. 14, Colorado State University will host the long-awaited premiere of the documentary “Robert’s Village,” chronicling the efforts of CSU alumna Laura Schreck and CSU alumnus and custodian Robert Serunjogi to provide assistance to his hometown in Uganda.
The division's creative use of video and special events to keep alumni and donors engaged during the pandemic recognized.
Gifts totaling more than $210,000 were made to nearly 100 funds across campus from 48 states and five countries in just 24 hours.
Over 44 years with Athletics, Max helped move projects from concept to reality and worked to maximize the participation of loyal donors.
The 24-hour event, from noon on May 6 to noon on May 7, demonstrates the power of collective generosity as alumni, students, friends, and faculty and staff support programs and areas across the University.
