On Friday, Vida, a building focused on animal and human health, opened to the public as part of the Colorado State University System’s new K-12 learning campus on the grounds of the new National Western Center.
On Jan. 7, the Colorado State University System will open a year-round and first-of-its-kind public destination in Denver, called CSU Spur, located at the National Western Center.
CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show is right around the corner on Jan. 15, with a family-friendly grand opening event for the CSU System’s new Spur campus scheduled for the same day.
As the Fourth Annual CSU Spur Water in the West Symposium convened experts from across the country on Wednesday, the focus was on learning from one another’s successes and finding solutions at-scale to water issues.
CSU Spur will open its first building in January, but will host its fourth annual Water in the West Symposium on Nov. 3-4, hosting speakers to discuss solution of scale. The 2021 Symposium will be hosted virtually, but plans to return to in-person in 2022.
The CSU Spur campus’ new podcast, CSU Spur of the Moment, launched in late August and welcomes guests that are connected with the campus in some way to tell their personal story, reflect on their area of work, and tackle big issues in their respective spaces.
The final steel beam will be laid on the Hydro building at the new CSU Spur campus on Sept. 16, marking a milestone for the largest and final building at CSU Spur.
