As we celebrate Women’s History Month, I’ve been reflecting on the courage required to be a woman and a leader. I’ve also been thinking about the extraordinary women of Colorado State University.

Together, we invite all of you to meet at Washington Park in Fort Collins at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 17. Together, we will then march to the Lory Student Center on a new route that commemorates the Black families who put down roots in northern Fort Collins in the early 1900s.
Spur is a beautiful new urban campus in Denver that will indeed be open to the public, and especially focused on being open and inviting to K-12 students from across the state.
With this decision, I do hold hope for a future where we are able to collectively break down the barriers that divide us, rather than unite us, as human beings.
We plan to offer the majority of our courses as in-person learning experiences in Fall 2021 while maintaining a healthy public environment.
“Take care of who you are. Take care of your identity, whether as teacher or researcher, employee or student. Take care of the passion and the expertise that brought you to CSU and that sustains you every day.”
CSU is focusing not on whether we can stop anyone from saying anything, but on how we can — through dialogue — solve hard problems, make big decisions, and shape our world.
The independent investigation has expanded to include a comprehensive review of the athletic department and football program.
