Plum Street will be closed from Shields Street east to the entry into the Moby parking lot from Monday, March 14-Friday, March 18.
Update Friday, Feb. 19 Last week the trees on the east side of the Oval were trimmed; starting Feb. 22, trimmers will shift their attention to trees on the west side. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, the west half of Oval Drive will be closed, through 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. Oval Drive will close from the Laurel Street entry to Amy VanDyken Way. Trees along the Oval near TILT, Weber and Statistics will be trimmed. The east side of Oval Drive will be accessible via East Drive, and Old Main Drive will be open to provide an exit onto Laurel Street. Music Drive will be closed. Around the Horn will detour the west side of the Oval by exiting at Laurel Street and re-entering campus at the Engineering lot north of the Lory Student Center when northbound. Southbound Horn routes will leave the Lory Student Center and go to Laurel Street, then Mason and back to University Avenue. Original post Feb 11 Portion of Oval Drive closed for tree trimming Oval Drive will be closed from Amy Van Dyken Way east to Old Main Monday, Feb. 15- Friday, Feb. 19. The closure is a safety measure while trees in the southeast section of the Oval are trimmed for routine care. A section of East Drive, from the driveway behind the Administration Building north to the Oval, also will be closed. The parking lots directly south of the Administration Building will remain open.

Original post Feb. 18: Prospect lane closures starting Feb. 22 through April Prospect lane closures starting Feb. 22 through AprilWork on an underpass below Prospect Road at Center Avenue will necessitate the closure of both east and west bound lanes and turning lanes starting Monday, Feb. 22 through the end of April. Two-way, east-west traffic will be reduced to one east bound lane and west bound lane until the end of April. East bound traffic will not be permitted to turn north onto Center Avenue onto campus. West bound traffic will be allowed onto Center from Prospect, and north-south traffic from Center Avenue onto campus will also be open. Alternate routes are advised.
Center Ave closed at Prospect Road south to Bay Drive Feb 8-19
The public is advised to avoid the area of Center Avenue on campus between Lake and Prospect, and south of Prospect Road, throughout the rest of the month and February. Lanes on Center Avenue and Prospect Road will be closed starting Monday, Jan. 18, for work related to the underpass being built to provide pedestrians, bikes and longboards with a safe way to cross Prospect to get to and from campus. Work will continue through February. In January, two-way traffic will be allowed, as controlled by traffic flaggers, on both Prospect and Center with the lane impacts. Starting on Feb. 2, the southbound lane of Center Avenue from campus (at Prospect) will be completed closed to all vehicle, bike and pedestrian traffic. This closure is anticipated through February. The closures may be extended if weather conditions increase the time needed to complete work in the area.
Lake Street and the Pitkin to Lake Street Access Road will be temporarily impacted by Xcel Energy work Dec. 29 -30.
Pitkin Street will be closed as a gateway to campus for all vehicle, pedestrian and bike traffic Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Saturday, Dec. 5.
A road linking Lake and Pitkin opened this week, giving vehicles a route from the west end of campus south into the city. The road is one-way south for vehicles, and two-way access for bikes, pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
Work is beginning on an underpass for pedestrians, bikes and longboarders at the intersection of Prospect and Center. The underpass will provide safe passage under Prospect and serve as a gateway onto campus, connecting Aggie Village, the south campus and horticulture facilities to main campus. The underpass features a wide passageway, providing ample space for multiple modes of transportation, and will be well lit.
