For seven Wednesdays in a row, thousands of music-lovers of all ages have descended upon the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center to enjoy free music and picnics at the Lagoon Summer Concert Series. This Wednesday, Aug. 12, there will be a total of four free concerts with local band Winchester Holiday closing out the series and the evening with a rousing performance at 6:30 p.m. Beginning at 4 p.m., Post Paradise and Slow Caves will perform on the adjacent lawn, north of Meridian Avenue, as part of the third annual Community Open House and Ice Cream Social. Then, at 6:15 p.m., Little Kids Rock Band Polaris will open for Winchester Holiday on the Lagoon stage.
