Search for associate vice president of Facilities Management moves forward with 4 finalists

The search committee for CSU’s next associate vice president of Facilities Management has selected four finalists. The finalists will visit campus the last week of February.

During their campus visits, the finalists will participate in interviews, facility tours and campus open forums.

The campus open forums will be held in-person, with a Teams event link for those who need to attend remotely. The dates, times and locations of the campus open forums are:

  • Candidate 1: Feb. 26, 10-10:45 a.m.; Lory Student Center, Room 386; Microsoft Teams
  • Candidate 2: Feb. 28, 10-10:45 a.m.; Lory Student Center, Room 300; Microsoft Teams
  • Candidate 3: Feb. 29, 10-10:45 a.m.; Lory Student Center, Room 384: Microsoft Teams
  • Candidate 4: March 1, 10-10:45 a.m.; Lory Student Center, Room 322: Microsoft Teams

One business day prior to each campus open forum, each candidate’s CV, a Teams event link and an evaluation form will become available on the University Operations website. To access each candidate’s information, enter your CSU netID and password. After each campus open forum, a recording of the forum will be available.

The associate vice president of Facilities Management is a senior leadership position reporting to the vice president for university operations and chief financial officer. Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Executive Director of the Lory Student Center Mike Ellis is chairing the search.

  • Mari Strombom, executive director of Housing and Dining Services 
  • Trent Wolf, trades manager in Operations and Facilities Management
