To prioritize access to financial education tools, Human Resources is spearheading a month-long initiative called “Financial Education Month.”

The program underscores the university’s commitment to providing resources for faculty and staff to navigate their financial future.

Throughout the month of April, employees will have access to a diverse range of resources, workshops and educational materials aimed at enhancing financial literacy. From budgeting basics to retirement planning strategies, the program offers something for everyone, regardless of their financial background or expertise. Additionally, employees will have access to online resources like budgeting templates and interactive assessments.

“Financial Education Month is about building learning blocks for managing and growing money,” said Teri Suhr, chief total rewards officer. “We want to help equip faculty and staff with the knowledge to confidently manage their health, retirement and other financial resources.”
