After clinching a share of the Mountain West title on Wednesday, the No. 9 Rams won it outright on Saturday, sweeping Nevada (32-30, 25-21, 25-14) to improve to 28-2, 16-1 MW.

The 9th-ranked Rams (26-2, 14-1 Mountain West) can clinch a share of their sixth consecutive league title if they beat San Jose State in a 7 p.m. Wednesday match at Moby Arena. The Rams come into that match off a weekend home sweep of Air Force and New Mexico. Following the match vs. San Jose State, the Rams have two remaining regular-season games – Saturday at Nevada and Nov. 26 at home vs. Border War rival Wyoming – before the NCAA Tournament. The Rams are expected to qualify for their 20th consecutive NCAA appearance and are strong candidates to host first- and second-round matches at Moby.
CSU’s 11-year mission to return to the national polls has been completed.
Colorado State junior running back Dee Hart rushed for 104 yards and a career-best four touchdowns in a 38-31 road victory over San José State last Saturday. For his performance, Hart was named the Warren Credit Union Colorado State Athlete of the Week.
