The 9th-ranked Rams (26-2, 14-1 Mountain West) can clinch a share of their sixth consecutive league title if they beat San Jose State in a 7 p.m. Wednesday match at Moby Arena. The Rams come into that match off a weekend home sweep of Air Force and New Mexico.
Following the match vs. San Jose State, the Rams have two remaining regular-season games – Saturday at Nevada and Nov. 26 at home vs. Border War rival Wyoming – before the NCAA Tournament.
The Rams are expected to qualify for their 20th consecutive NCAA appearance and are strong candidates to host first- and second-round matches at Moby.
