Search for provost and executive vice president position moves forward with 3 finalists

The search committee for CSU’s next provost and executive vice president position has selected three finalists. The finalists will visit campus in the coming weeks. During their campus visits, the finalists will participate in interviews, facility tours and campus open forums for faculty, staff and students.

The campus open forums will be held in-person, with a Teams event link for those who need to attend remotely. The dates, times and locations of the campus open forums are:

  • Candidate #1: Campus Open Forum: Aug. 28, 10-11:30 a.m.; Lory Student Center Never No Summer Room
  • Candidate #2: Campus Open Forum: Sept. 5, 10-11:30 a.m.; Lory Student Center Never No Summer Room
  • Candidate #3: Campus Open Forum: Sept. 11, 10-11:30 a.m.; Lory Student Center Never No Summer Room

One business day prior to each campus open forum (i.e., the Friday before each candidate’s visit), each candidate’s CV, Teams event link, and evaluation form will become available on the website. To access each candidate’s information, you will enter your CSU netID and password. After each campus open forum, a recording of the forum will be available.

The provost and executive vice president is the number two position in the Colorado State University administration and serves as the institution’s chief academic officer. College of Health and Human Sciences Dean Lise Youngblade is chairing the search committee for provost and executive vice president. Lee Nagle is providing search support, and Brigid Hinterberger is the search’s equal opportunity coordinator.
