Mothers of infants sought for sleep study

Researchers in CSU’s Department of Human Development and Family Studies are seeking mothers with infants up to 6 months old to participate in a research study that examines maternal and infant sleep and well-being.  baby1

In the Possums Sleep Study, participants in group workshop sessions will discuss maternal parenting values, emotionally available caregiving, sleep hygiene, relaxation and mindfulness. Mothers will also learn to create an individualized lifestyle plan that promotes healthy sleep practices for both mother and infant, thereby improving maternal and infant well-being.

Participation is voluntary, on a first-come-first-serve basis, and sessions are free.

The group workshop is delivered over five consecutive weeks in 1.5- to two-hour segments. Workshops will take place at Colorado State University.
