Plans to close the one-way, temporary road connecting Lake Street to Pitkin Street west of the stadium are delayed with an interim measure.

The interim measure maintains a south route through campus, with a new entry to the road. Starting Monday, Oct. 17, the entry to the road will be located at the west end of parking lot #240, with a new route through the lot. This interim measure will remain in place through early November, providing university planners with time to work on a solution that carries through next summer traffic through the area.

• The temporary road will remain a one-way south only. No northbound traffic is allowed on the road.
• All bikes and pedestrians must take the arboretum trail and will no longer be allowed on the road.

The current connector road was slated to close Friday, Oct. 14, through the duration of the stadium project. That closure will be replaced with this interim measure.
