FORTCAST (FORT Collins Atmospheric ScientisTs), Northern Colorado’s chapter of the American Meteorological Society, will hold its fall chapter meeting on Sept. 29.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. in Rockwell West, Room 107. AMS President Frederick H. Carr will give a talk titled “Perspectives from a 50-year Career in Atmospheric Science,” with time for questions and discussion. Refreshments will be provided.

Later in the semester, FORTCAST will host the sixth annual Young Scientist Symposium on Atmospheric Research, Nov. 4, in the Department of Atmospheric Science. Register for that event by Oct. 21, or Sept. 23 if submitting an oral or poster presentation.
