The Graduate School provides leadership for graduate education at CSU. They ensure the highest academic program standards while enhancing students’ personal and professional growth through innovative professional development and mentoring programs.

The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering’s human resources department nominated Sandy Dailey and Vince Avalos at the Graduate School for their excellent and speedy help. They had recently encountered an issue in which an electronic form needed to be signed, but the individual who needed to sign it was unable to obtain access. The form was needed by the following day for the student to graduate. Dailey and Avalos worked on a solution that could be applied to both systems and was resolved that day. The best part was, the student never had to worry about whether they were going to graduate because of all the hard work done behind the scenes.

The CSU Employee Appreciation Board is grateful to Dailey and Avalos for their kindness, knowledge sharing and excellent communication as they worked through the uniqueness of this situation. The team was celebrated with breakfast burritos.
