The Colorado State University Employee Appreciation Board is spotlighting the International Enrollment Center, which is part of CSU’s Office of International Programs.
The International Enrollment Center supports prospective international students at all levels of study through application and processing services, providing comprehensive admissions information and handling initial immigration document issuance. The IEC works with students and partners to share information about academic programs at CSU and is composed of three teams: recruitment, marketing and admissions. The teams ensure international students have a seamless transition to their new lives in Colorado and at CSU, where they enrich the campus, classrooms and community.
The nominator for this team’s recognition wrote, “The IEC has a strong commitment to the international community at CSU. From the first point of contact with the university to attending CSU, the team has been doing an excellent job providing customer service. As a result of the team’s efforts, this year more than 100 freshman international students have joined CSU.”
The IEC team hosts two community events to fundraise for scholarships for international students: International Wine Night Benefit, a fall event that was hosted by the OBC Wine Project and featured globally inspired wine and spritz pairings; and the International Run for Relief, coming up in the spring. Information on the RFR can be found online. The nominator added, “It is this team’s hope that the community fundraisers will become a CSU tradition helping future international Rams.”
The IEC team was recognized at an appreciation lunch on Nov. 8 and presented with great CSU swag.
