The Colorado State University Employee Appreciation Board is highlighting the staff of the College of Liberal Arts Academic Support Center for excelling at their job and making a difference in the lives of students.

The CLA ASC and its advisors work with undergraduate students to help them successfully obtain a bachelor’s degree. Their vision is to inspire students to pursue their academic and professional goals.

Ella Bowers said her team consistently goes above and beyond for the students they serve. She noted that “three of our staff are busy with a search committee, and they are flexing their schedule to accommodate students during peak advising. One advisor is offering appointments until 6 p.m. at night.” She added that multiple advisors have earned the AP Star award and Jack E. Cermak Advising Award. This group not only supports the students but each other, to ensure they are able to have a great work life balance.

The CSU Employee Appreciation Board is grateful to the CLA ASC team for making a difference in the life of the students and each other. The team was celebrated with a pizza lunch.
