CSU Speaks: Where science meets community

Science in Action  presents CSU Speaks to showcase the awesome work being done across Colorado State University. The event takes place at New Belgium Brewery Saturday, April 27, from noon to 6 p.m.CSU speaks event poster

CSU Speaks encourages graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and professors in all colleges and departments of the university to present their work to the public in an easily accessible 10-minute talk.

CSU Speaks encourages scientists to communicate their work in a clear, jargon-free manner to members of the community; brings CSU research to the public, helping to gain support for science and research funding; and develops connections between scientific organizations and the local community. Topics will cover a wide diversity of subjects, reflecting the diverse body of research that is happening on campus.

This is an opportunity to share CSU research with the Fort Collins community, help involve people in the work of the university, and make some new friends in the process.

CSU Speaks is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research, The Graduate School, and the Graduate School Council.
