Convocation, a ceremony that begins a student’s academic journey at Colorado State University, was held at Canvas Stadium for the first time the morning of Aug. 20.

This year, both first-year and second-year students were invited to attend.

The event featured remarks from President Joyce McConnell and other CSU leaders, an introduction to the CSU Fight Song and performances by the CSU Marching Band and Spirit Squads.
