Construction project closes Laurel Street access to/from Engineering Lot 310

map of outage

A construction project to make accessibility improvements has temporarily closed the Laurel Street entrance/exit roads for parking lots north/northeast of the Lory Student Center.

During the project, which began June 1 and will last until approximately June 19, roads between Laurel Street and Engineering Lot 310 will be closed.

Parking lots 310 and 305 remain open and can be accessed only from Music Drive, which connects the lots to Oval Drive between Ammons Hall and the TILT Building. During the closure, Music Drive will be converted to two-way traffic.

Additionally, the sidewalks and bike paths directly west and east of the entrance/exit for Lot 310 will be closed as well. This closure will also coincide with a City of Fort Collins project to rework ramps on the southeast and southwest corners of the Meldrum Street and Laurel Street intersection. As a result, the sidewalks on the south side of Laurel Street will also be closed from Rockwell Hall to Ammons Hall during the project.
