Celebration of Life for Diana Wall set for May 6

Diana Wall

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 6, from 5-7 p.m. in the Never No Summer Ballroom at the Lory Student Center for the campus community to honor Diana Wall.

Wall, a groundbreaking soil ecologist who was one of the world’s most internationally respected environmental scientists and inaugural director of CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability, passed away March 25.

The event will be an open house format, with a short recognition program and video at 5:45 p.m. All who were touched by Wall and her research are invited to attend.  Diana loved a good party, so appetizers, desserts and drinks will be provided. Come with your favorite stories and memories to share among Wall’s fellow colleagues, friends and family.

A memorial tree will be planted in Diana’s honor later this summer in celebration of the long-lasting impact and future growth that Wall invested into the CSU community.

Those unable to attend are welcome to share memories, photos and request future information about the Celebration of Life program recording and memorial tree through this qualtrics survey.
