Celebrate! Colorado State awards April 11

The teaching, research and service achievements of students, alumni and friends, academic faculty, administrative professionals and classified staff are front and center at the annual Celebrate! Colorado State awards event. This university-wide event that bestows the best of CSU with awards and honors, takes place April 11, 3-5 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Ballroom.

‘I Love CSU Day’ April 18

All of Ram Nation – students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends – should wear their green on Wednesday, April 18 to show their love for their favorite school.

On campus, Alumni Association staff and CSU’s Team Social will be out and about, offering free stuff to people wearing their Rams green. And the Alumni Association will provide free coffee and donuts at the Iris & Michael Smith Alumni Center while they last.

Day of Giving April 19: 24 hours of Loving Your State

This fourth annual event gives CSU alumni, students, faculty staff and friends a chance to support their favorite Ram causes. This year’s event is set for Thursday, April 19.

Last year, 3,038 donors from 48 states supported CSU funds with donations ranging from $1 to $1,000. In the end, $221,747 was raised in 24 hours.

Best teachers April 19

The Colorado State University Alumni Association recognizes outstanding CSU educators each year with Best Teacher Awards. The teachers are nominated by students and alumni and are selected by a committee comprised of faculty, students, and members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.

CSU’s Best Teachers will be honored April 19 with a recognition event in the Lory Student Center Theatre that starts at 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate! CSU Milestones May 1

On Tuesday, May 1, employees celebrating major anniversaries of service with CSU will be honored at the Celebrate! CSU Milestones event at 4:30 p.m. in the LSC Main Ballroom.
