Bike to Work Day set for June 26

Join students, faculty and staff during the annual summer Bike to Work Day on June 26. A city-sponsored event, more than 60 breakfast stations will be located across Fort Collins for those commuting by bike.bike to work day graphic

CSU will host a breakfast station from 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on the Oval between East Drive and Amy Van Dyken Way, directly north of the Administration Building.

Breakfast will include free Silver Grill cinnamon rolls, Lamar’s donuts, Housing and Dining Services bratwurst and veggie breakfast burritos, Noosa yogurt from Morning Fresh Dairy, KIND snacks bars, Bean Cycle coffee, various fruit and juice options from Edge Optics, Milo’s tea, and CSU freebies.

The university has set a goal to exceed 850 bicyclists participating this year; help reach the goal and stop by with your bicycle and enjoy breakfast. This is the annual summer bike to work day and more than 60 free breakfast stations will be located across Fort Collins.

The Spoke will be available to help with your bicycle maintenance related needs, and Mountain White Water will provide a raft photo opportunity.

Bike to Work day supports Colorado State University’s  commitment to sustainability, and CSU is ranked sixth nationwide in the green colleges guide.
