Become certified in CPR/AED and first aid at CSU

CSU’s Office of Risk Management and Insurance offers a course that helps prepare members of the CSU community to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

This American Red Cross course trains participants in CPR, AED and first aid skills that they can use to assist a wide range of individuals including adults, children and infants. For every minute that passes following a sudden cardiac arrest event, the victim’s chance of survival decreases by approximately 10 percent. With relevant tools and training, you can ensure the chain of survival is followed properly, and help give someone another chance to live.

Visit the Risk Management and Insurance website to register for a class here.

Classes can also be requested and held for a group of individuals for a specific date and time. Please contact the office at 970-491-6745 to request a class or with any further questions.
