Back for its 67th year, the World Unity Fair at Colorado State University is the best way to travel the globe in a few hours with food, music, dance and traditions from around the world.

The Office of International Programs will host the annual fair on Saturday, April 8, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Grand Ballrooms and lobby.

Bringing together cultural groups from CSU and the greater Fort Collins community, the World Unity Fair promises a rich global experience for attendees. Events include cultural booths, stage show performances and an international bazaar. There is no event admission cost, but there will be worldwide cuisine available for purchase.

Students, staff, faculty and community members alike are all welcome at this free, public event. There is free parking near the LSC on Saturday.

“I am excited to see the return of World Unity Fair, a true celebration of international cultures from around the world,” said Greg Wymer, the director of International Student and Scholar Services. “If you have never attended, come join in making this your first of many fairs to come.”

This event is brought to you by the Office of International Programs and is co-sponsored by the Associated Students of Colorado State University, Council of International Student Affairs and the Fort Collins International Center.

In years past, upwards of 2,000 people have attended this event, which aims to celebrate global diversity and provide a platform for CSU international students, groups and clubs to represent their cultures.

“The World Unity Fair allows students to showcase elements of their countries and cultures in ways that are meaningful to them,” said Bronwen Watts, the assistant director of programming at the CSU Office of International Programs. “The clothes, photos, and items displayed are beautiful and provide insight into the culture, and many of the recipes are provided directly by students and their families, so you’re truly getting an authentic experience.”
