The community is invited to join in the fight against lupus in the third annual ERICA Lupus Awareness Walk, set for Sunday, May 1 at CSU.

The 1-mile walk begins at 10 a.m. at the gates of the football practice fields, just south of the Moby Arena parking lot. The walk around the CSU intramural fields is free, but you can get a commemorative T-shirt for a $10 donation.

Student-athlete community service

The event is sponsored by Rambition, the all-female student-athlete leadership council in the CSU Department of Athletics, and the Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies Foundation.

Proceeds from the walk benefit the ERICA (Enhancing Research Improving Constant Awareness) Lupus Patient Assistance Fund, established through the PVH and MCR Foundation.
