Toys for Tots: Put a smile on a child’s face

Toys for Tots LogoThe surest way to put a smile on the face of a child this holiday season is to drop a toy into one of the many collection boxes around campus for the third annual Toys for Tots drive.

Last year, Colorado State University donated 867 items after gathering 795 in the inaugural drive in 2017. The campus drive, now in its final week, was founded by Janet Mabon and her husband, Ross – both CSU employees.

Last week to donate!

The Mabons are seeking donations of new, unopened and unwrapped toys, books, sporting goods and arts and crafts supplies. Please especially consider children age 2 and under and those age 13 and over when making your gift selections. All donations go to children in Larimer Country.

Student groups are encouraged to join the fun, too. In the past, some groups have pooled cash donations to buy gifts.

Deadline for donations if 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. For information contact Janet Mabon at 491-3132 or janet.mabon@colostate.edu.
