Did you know that one in 10 CSU students struggles with food security? Want to do something to change that rather sobering fact?

Giving Tuesday, set for Dec. 1, is your chance to help a CSU student survive and thrive. You know, Rams helping Rams.

Last year, the CSU community donated $50,729, which turned into 6,975 meals in the inaugural Rams  Against Hunger campaign. The goal is to provide even more meals and help even more students in 2015.

“This program changed my life,” said one CSU student who benefited from the program. “I felt such support through my community in a way that wasn’t overly involved or embarrassing. My stress levels went down significantly, and I felt comfort.”

You can donate $13.50 – enough for two meals – by texting TUESDAY to 51555. Or, an online gift of $33.75 will provide a full week of meals. All young alumni who make a gift before the end of the 2015 calendar year will receive founding membership to the Green & Gold Society.
