Spend Día de los Muertos in Mexico: CSU Todos Santos Spanish immersion program open for registration

CSU Todos Santos

Colorado State University Todos Santos and the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures have partnered to create a unique Spanish immersion program offered during the Fall and Spring semesters each year.

Registration is still open for the Fall 2023 cohort, which kicks off on Tuesday, Oct. 10.

This program offers an extraordinary opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds – including faculty, staff and their families – to embark on a transformative journey of Spanish language acquisition and cultural exploration.

This comprehensive and guided non-credit course is comprised of two modules, beginning with three weeks of online instruction, and concluding with a 10-day immersive experience in picturesque Baja California Sur, Mexico, at CSU Todos Santos.

Whether you are an individual aiming to enhance your Spanish language abilities or part of an educational group seeking cultural integration and language proficiency, this program offers a truly unique experience.

Spend Día de los Muertos in Mexico! While both iterations of the course include incredible opportunities to practice Spanish and engage with local culture, the spring course features local ecosystems and wildlife, whereas the fall course focuses more on culture and also allows participants to experience Día de Muertos, one of Mexico’s most famed and historic celebrations.
