CSU is hosting the Canvas Community Classic high school football games the evening of Friday, Oct. 6, and several roads around Canvas Stadium will be closed beginning at 3:15 p.m.

Capt. Jason Meisner of the CSU Police Department said there may be traffic disturbances around the stadium beginning at 11 a.m., when vehicle barricades begin to be installed.

Street segments on the west, north and east side of Canvas Stadium will be closed (including portions of Pitkin Street and Meridian Avenue).

The two high school football games are Fossil Ridge vs. Fort Collins and Rocky Mountain vs. Poudre.
