Ritter, CSU faculty discuss withdrawal from Paris climate agreement Oct. 4

Former Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter and prominent CSU faculty will discuss the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement on Oct. 4.

“Feeling the Heat: Global Climate Solutions After Paris” is being sponsored by the CSU Office of International Programs and the School of Global Environmental Sustainability.

Ritter, director of CSU’s Center for the New Energy Economy, will be joined by Michele Betsill, head of the Department of Political Science, and Ken Shockley, associate professor in the Department of Philosophy. The discussion will be moderated by Peter Backlund, associate director of the School of Global Environmental Sustainability.

The discussion will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Grey Rock Room.

The event is free and open to the public.
