RAMmobile, the CSU mobile app, is going away July 31

The Division of Information Technology has announced the upcoming decommissioning of RAMmobile, the university’s mobile app that has served as a centralized hub for certain campus resources.

Effective July 31, the RAMmobile app will no longer be available for download or use. However, all of the essential services previously accessed through the app will remain readily available through direct links on official university websites.

To ensure a smooth transition, the division has compiled a list of direct links to frequently used resources:

-RAMweb (https://ramweb.colostate.edu/)
-Campus Maps (https://maps.colostate.edu/)
-Parking Garage Availability (https://pts.colostate.edu/parking-garage-status/)
-Class Registration (https://bannerxe.is.colostate.edu/StudentRegistrationSsb/ssb/term/termSelection?mode=search&mepCode=CSU)
-Courses (https://canvas.colostate.edu/)
-FAMweb (https://famweb.colostate.edu/)

The decision to discontinue RAMmobile was made after reviewing the app’s usage and considering current resource allocations. Over time, app usage had declined as students and staff increasingly accessed information directly through websites and other platforms.

Given this shift in user behavior, it was decided to redirect resources from maintaining the app to enhancing other services more widely used by the campus community. This reallocation of resources will allow the Division of IT to focus on improving the tools and platforms that best serve the current needs of CSU students, faculty and staff.

Any questions or concerns regarding this transition can be directed to Steve Juarez (steve.juarez@colostate.edu), director of business intelligence and data integration for the Division of IT.
