Ram Welcome concludes on Sunday, Aug. 20, before classes begin the following day.

In addition to Convocation and the Ram Welcome Carnival, the week includes student-favorite traditions such as Ramapalooza as well as the Rambunctious Pep Rally and CSU Photo.

Ramapalooza — set for Friday, Aug. 18 from 6-10 p.m. in the Lory Student Center — includes live musical performances, arcade games, crafts and more. The LSC celebration also features free snacks and prizes.

The Rambunctious Pep Rally and CSU Photo at Canvas Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. gives students the opportunity to learn about traditions and participate in the annual taking of the C-S-U class photo, which is prominently displayed in the Lory Student Center and social media.

Students also have the chance to hike to the iconic “A” painted on the foothills overlooking Fort Collins on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9-10:30 a.m. The hike, organized by Outdoor Programs, Fort Collins Natural Areas and the CSU Alumni Association, gives students the opportunity to see a symbol of CSU history and pride since 1923.

Throughout the week, Ram Welcome will include movie screenings, information sessions and dining opportunities for students to connect with the campus. Ram Welcome also has specific programming for transfer students, adult learners and student veterans as well as international students.
