Online ag business program transforms careers, global food systems

Have you ever walked into your local grocery store and wondered why the peaches had switched places with the carrots? Turns out it’s not an accident. Food production and distribution, including the design of your local grocery store, has become a science — and CSU’s online agricultural business bachelor’s degree is helping people learn strategies to not only advance their careers in this area, but impact the food systems upon which we all depend.

An example of this comes through Ralph Towell, a graduate of the program and a Category Advisor for a foods company in Salinas, California. Find out in the video below how what he learned in the agricultural business program affects what you find when you shop for food.
