In memory: Finnegan Daly

Finnegan Robert Daly, 21, of Fort Collins, died Jan. 14. He was born July 18, 1996.

Born in Reading, Penn., he was the son of Regina M. Daly (Pouleson) and Joseph Daly, Jr., and the brother of Griffin J. Daly. He was a graduate of Wyomissing High School in 2014, where he played football, lacrosse, and basketball. At the time of his passing, he was a senior at Colorado State University in Fort Collins with a double major in business and political science. Finnegan was a bright and shining star, extremely smart, talented, and kind. He enjoyed all Colorado has to offer – snowboarding, hiking, biking, and exploring the fourteeners.

Finnegan was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was an amazing person and loyal friend. His bright light was extinguished so much before his time, but his memory will live on in all of us.

In addition to his parents and brother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Pouleson; stepfather, John D. Bucolo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him. Finnegan was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Judith Daly; and uncle, Patrick J. Daly.

Viewing will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, with memorial services honoring Finnegan at 4 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Finnegan Robert Daly Memorial Fund.
