This year’s Lagoon Summer Concert Series starts June 19 on the west lawn of CSU’s Lory Student Center.

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has announced its lineup, and the 2019 season kicks off on Wednesday, June 19, with the Jakarta Band on the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center at 6 p.m.

The series continues on Wednesdays for eight weeks and offers the Fort Collins community a place to enjoy free music for all ages. Produced by Mantooth Marketing Company, the musical lineup features a variety of genres, including R&B, country, rock and folk.

There will be a variety of local food trucks at the series for concertgoers to enjoy each week, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.

And for the first time, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series will not only be enjoyed by show attendees, but by radio listeners across northern Colorado and around the world. Starting June 26, KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins will broadcast each of the seven concerts as part of its “Around Town” series, which airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The partnership is a reflection of the mission the two organizations share–enhancing community relationships and pride through the love of arts and entertainment.

“The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is a great example of the spirit and culture in our area,” said KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins Executive Director Jen Parker. “We are proud to support this popular summer tradition and share it with a much bigger audience.”

Their vast repertoire has something for every country fan.
