CSU Marching Band Parade Of Lights

Be a part of a favorite Colorado State University holiday tradition: the 9NEWS Parade of Lights in Denver.

The marching band, cheer squad and CAM the Ram will be illuminating the streets of Denver in this annual parade, which starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. CSU is a supporting sponsor of the event.

The free holiday spectacular features more than 40 attractions, including illuminated floats, helium-filled character balloons, marching bands, traditional equestrian units and vibrant cultural displays. Additionally, The CSU Denver Center at 555 17th St. will have opportunities for anyone who wants to get photos with Santa.

The CSU Marching Band is the only university marching band to participate in the Parade of Lights and has led the parade through the streets of downtown Denver for 15 years running. 

CSU Marching Band parade preview in Fort Collins

In the lead up to the Parade of Lights, the CSU Marching Band will be offering a free parade preview in Fort Collins on Friday, Dec. 1, at 5:30 p.m.

The parade preview starts at the corner of Mathews and Lake streets and concludes at the University Center for the Arts’ front entrance on Remington Street. Stick around the UCA after the marching band performance to enjoy the symphony orchestra concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Registration is requested, but not required.
