Jesse Storm Ortega, 23, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9. Jesse lived life to the fullest in Fort Collins, where he was pursuing his bachelors in computer science at Colorado State University. Jesse was born on Sept. 17, 1992, in Phoenix.

Jesse was passionate about life. He truly lived every second like it counted. This was apparent in the way he maintained positivity in most of life’s biggest storms. He seldom put away his smile even when he had finals, friends, work, and finances to balance. Jesse loved everyone he met as if they were his closest family—even the most cast-away stranger in the corner of a party. Jesse’s dedication was a bit beyond a normal person’s. He regularly worked out, dieted, studied late, worked early, and broke the rules—even to the point where some might call it strange.
