In memory: Ted Lawrence Roselius

Ted Lawrence Roselius, 82, passed away June 16, in Fort Collins, where he made his home since the early 1960s. His death followed his heroic effort to overcome metastatic prostate cancer.

Ted was born August 23, 1935, in rural Cleveland County, Oklahoma. He was the first of three sons born to Oliver L. Roselius and Alma Leta Sleeker Roselius.

After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Ted was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company as a seismologist. When the oil industry experienced an economic downturn, Ted enrolled at the University of Colorado, receiving a Doctor of business administration degree. He then began a 31-year career as a professor in the Colorado State University College of Business, Department of Management, specializing in small business management and entrepreneurship. Ted retired from Colorado State in 1995 and pursued his love of farming at his home in east Larimer County until his death.

Ted is survived by his wife Linda; son Russell (Theresa) of Arvada, Colorado; son Robert of Denver; grandson Maxwell of Fort Collins; grandson Collin of Arvada; brother William (Patti) of Seminole, Oklahoma; brother Michael (Jean) of Edmond, Oklahoma; former wife Kathleen of Fort Collins, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, at Allnutt Funeral Service, Drake Chapel with visitation at 10 a.m.
