Randy (James Randol) Calhoun, III, passed away Oct. 17.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Oct. 29 at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W.Apache, Farmington, New Mexico.
Son of James Randol Calhoun, Jr. and Thelma Dean Allison Calhoun, Randy was born Nov. 19, 1943, in San Mateo, Calif.
Randy is survived by his children, Kimberlei Crysta Calhoun (Bennie) Rawson, Randol Christian (Neisha) Calhoun, and their mother Diane. His grandchildren are Graham Rawson, Tyler Calhoun, Brianna States, Mariah Bradshaw, and great grandson Wyatt Hunter. He was preceded in death by wife Caroline Hsu Calhoun.
Randy spent many years in the educational fields with degrees of Master of Science in accounting and management information systems from Colorado State University, Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance, University of Colorado, and he was a certified public accountant. He had multiple other degrees and employment, including New Mexico Highlands University at San Juan College, Southwest Memorial Hospital in Colorado, and supervised accounts payable for Colorado State University. Randy volunteered for many years at Many Waters Mission and did countless hours in volunteer work for the Lord.
Randy worked closely with many dear friends and associates, including Barbara Meacham, who was his devoted companion for many years. Donations may be made to Many Waters Mission, Box 225 Waterflow, NM 87421.
