In memory: Larry Gene Miller

Larry Gene Miller, 77, of Eaton, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 6, surrounded by and with the love of his family. He was born July 2, 1941, in Anderson, Indiana, to Eva and Donald Miller. He was one of six children.Larry Gene Miller

He graduated from Indiana University in 1964 with a degree in accounting. He served in the US Air Force as a weapons controller from 1964-1969 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. On July 15, 1967, he married Trudy L. Sturdevant of Waverly, Iowa, in Walker, Minnesota.

He was employed by RCA (Radio Corporation of America) in Bloomington, Indiana, for 7 years before moving to Colorado in 1976. He was then employed by Colorado State University as an accountant for 29 years, retiring in 2005.

In retirement he enjoyed cycling, fishing, camping, archery, shooting, and spending time with his grandkids.

He was loved and will be missed by many, including his beloved wife of 51 years, Trudy Miller; children, Fred and Laura(Miller) Irvin, Greg and Rebecca Miller, Jeremy and Jennie Miller; and the treasures of his heart, his grandchildren, Dean Irvin, Annette Miller, Kaitlin Miller, Jacob Miller, Emmalynn Miller, and Kaylee Miller.
