In memory: Edna May Plessinger

Edna May (Carnine) Plessinger, 88, passed peacefully away at home July 24. She was born January 1, 1933, in Clarksburg, Mo., the daughter of Samuel Lee Carnine and Emma Jessie Leary.
Edna met and married Cecil Plessinger in 1953, and eventually settled down in Fort Collins. Their family consisted of four children, Gary Lynn Plessinger (pre deceased her), Alan Dale Plessinger, Pamela Plessinger, and Lary Plessinger. She was also blessed with four grandchildren and six great-grand children.

Edna enjoyed working as a librarian and administrative assistant at Washington Elementary school. Her passion was helping children. Leading her to be a Colorado State University catering department manager while also opening and running “The Sweet Sensations” coffee shop in the student center. Known as the ‘Hat Lady!,’ she loved giving to the community by volunteering with the VFW veterans, helping the elderly at Spring Creek Health Center, but her biggest and most important love was her family!

A private family service will be held. Please send all condolences to Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
