If you work at CSU and love basketball, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day is perfect for you.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend men’s basketball practice at 3:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8. After practice, attendees can meet the Rams and new coach Niko Medved.

“We are excited to invite all of the CSU faculty and staff to join us on Oct. 8, as they are incredibly important to us as a program,” Medved said. “Without their work at this great institution, our student-athletes wouldn’t be here and have the opportunity to represent them on the court and in the classroom. This is our chance to give them an inside look into what we are doing and meet them personally. For our team, it’s a chance to thank faculty and staff for what they do every day at CSU. I can’t wait to see them at Moby.”

Rams have talented team returning

The Rams return four starters from last year’s team, including senior guard J.D. Paige and junior center Nico Carvacho.

The Rams play CSU-Pueblo at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in an exhibition before opening the regular season at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at home vs. Colorado Christian. They open the Mountain West season Jan. 2 at UNLV.
