CSU’s new president featured at Rams at the Rockies

Rams at the Rockies logoColorado will get an early chance to see incoming CSU President Joyce McConnell in person when she takes the field for pregame ceremonies at Coors Field as part of the annual Rams at the Rockies celebration.

The game, set for 1:10 p.m. Sunday, June 30, against the Los Angeles Dodgers, marks the annual CSU celebration when alumni and fans don their green and gold and show off their Ram pride while supporting the Colorado Rockies.

McConnell, who officially takes over for Tony Frank the following day, will be joined on the field by two-legged CAM the Ram, CSU cheerleaders and star softball pitcher Bridgette Hutton, who will toss out the ceremonial first pitch underhanded. Fans can also hear the CSU Mountain Horns a cappella group sing the National Anthem.
