CSU celebrates 61st annual World Unity Fair

The Office of International Programs will host its 61st annual World Unity Fair on Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Lory Student Center B Ballroom. More than 20 cultural groups from CSU and the Fort Collins community will come together to create a rich experience featuring traditions, tastes, music and dance from around the world. The event is free and open to the public.

Schedule of events

The World Unity Fair is a community-wide, globally focused celebration that includes entertainment and activities for all ages.

Youth World Tour: 3–5 p.m.

The Youth World Tour is a family-friendly event where children will receive a passport to fill up as they visit different cultural booths to try activities, crafts and games. Activities include cultural trivia, origami, gingerbread house building, Chinese yo-yo and more.

International Bazaar: 3–9 p.m.

Holiday shoppers can stock up on gifts at the Fort Collins International Center’s International Bazaar, which features items that community members have donated from their travels around the world. Attendees can purchase international gifts and collectibles just in time for the holidays while benefitting the Fort Collins International Center.

Cultural Booths: 5–9 p.m.

Cultural booths will once again serve traditional food from their home countries, and those meals can be purchased for a small price. Attendees will have the opportunity to play games, make crafts, and sample dishes from the various cultural booths.

World Talent Show: 5–9 p.m.

To cap off the night, the ever-popular World Talent Show will entertain the audience with music, dance and other unique performances by various culture groups in the LSC Theatre.
