SPARK PosterAccess to reliable, inexpensive energy is essential to our modern world, which is why the Colorado State University Energy Institute is partnering with Inside Energy, a media group, to host SPARK! on April 15.

The event is designed to “turn energy inside out to reveal why it should matter to you” and will feature hands-on energy technology demonstrations, meet Inside Energy journalists and hear speakers such as Bill Ritter, the former Colorado governor who now leads the Center for the New Energy Economy at CSU.

“The Energy Institute is dedicated to finding secure, safe, and reliable sources of energy to power economic growth,” said Bryan Willson, director of the institute. “This event is an opportunity to share our work with the community, and to highlight our partner companies and their incredible contributions to our shared energy future.”

The three-hour event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 at the Powerhouse Energy Campus, 430 N. College Ave. in Fort Collins. Inside Energy radio reporters will broadcast live from the event.
