Wendy Woo Band will be gracing the Lagoon Summer Concert Series on Wednesday, August 2 at 6:30 p.m. The acclaimed Northern Colorado artist will bring her energetic stage presence and spirited music skills to campus.
Woo has won Westword magazine’s “Singer/Songwriter of the Year” five times. Her playing accolades include performing with Brad Paisley, Carly Simon, and James Taylor.
Woo’s proven talent and musical prowess will no doubt delight concertgoers as the Lagoon Concert Series wraps up its final show of the summer.
The evening will also feature local food trucks: Wing Shack, Austin Taco, Umami Sustainable Spoon, the Human Bean, and Ba-nom-a-nom.
All Lagoon concerts are free and open to the public. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and park in the Lory Student Center or Moby Arena lots.
