Nominations open for MSFN Distinguished Service Awards

Milestones luncheon 2016

The Multicultural Staff & Faculty Network invites the campus community to submit nominations for the MSFN Distinguished Service Award.  These awards recognize the nominee’s service for outstanding contributions to diversity, inclusive excellence and multiculturalism to/in their professions within the university, our community and society.  One academic faculty, administrative professional, and state-classified member will be honored.

Completed nominations should include the following three items:

  • A curriculum vitae (CV) or resume for Faculty or Administrative Professional nominee
  • A resume or a description of nominee qualifications for a State Classified nominee
  • A formal letter of nomination (12-point font, double-spaced; two-page limit)
  • One additional letter of support (12-point font, double-spaced; tw page limit)

Any academic faculty, administrative professional and state-classified member is eligible for a nomination, except previous award winners.  Previous recipients are listed on the MSFN website.

Nominations are due on Friday, March 3, 2107 by 5 p.m. MST.

Awardees will receive a commemorative plaque, an award of $1,000, and recognition at special events including but not limited to Celebrate! Colorado State Awards on Wednesday, April 18, in the Lory Student Center Grand Ballroom.
